Young Marine Biology Conference

Overview

The Young Marine Biologist Conference offers a space for the participation of researchers, students and policymakers working in the field of marine science to exchange knowledge and bring new ideas for future collaborative research and the solution of marine environmental issues.

Approach

I wanted to create an enriching conference experience with an emphasis on making marine science fun, diverse and inclusive, with support for early career scientists. I have a bachelors degree in Marine Science and have attended scientific conferences as a student in the past. I wanted to create a conference system that is more accessible to the average person.

Conference Booklet

To keep the brand accessible, an illustrative design and simple layout was adopted to create a visually pleasing and easy to digest booklet. 

Website Design

A single page website was designed to allow users to easliy navigate and convert with unnessesary clutter. All of the information for the conference can be found on the homepage.

Ad Campaign

To promote the conference a series of eye catching posters were created.
